Up to now, there are over 2,000 staffs in this group. It has a modern production base covering an area of over 200,000 m2, with the building area of over 110,000 m2. Having been supported and directed by the governments at all levels and been loved by all walks of life and all patients since its establishment, the business scale and economic benefit of the group has made rapid progress, resulting in accumulative taxation of over RMB 700 million paid to the country, more than RMB 100 million in 2005 and in 2006 respectively. Up to now, the group has owned 61 domestic invention patents and 5 international invention patents, 4 class-1 investigational new drugs independently developed, the complete new products marketing planning has been extended to 2014.

Sichuan Kanghong Pharmaceutical Engineering Development Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in R & D of natural drugs, Chinese traditional medicine and chemical medicines, and has successively put over 20 new products on the market. Up to now, there has been about 20 new products under research including class-1 chemical medicine with new chemical structure, Chinese traditional medicine or natural drugs with effective ingredients or effective positions, compound preparations of Chinese traditional medicine or natural medicines, new drug delivery system preparation and high-tech application of modern pharmaceutics technique, all investigational items own the independent intellectual property rights.

At present, the group has 3 GMP production bases, where 5 medicament forms and over 20 varieties can be produced.
Chengdu Kanghong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is the group’s production base for natural medicines, and also the starting point of the production system of the group. In 1998, all of its Chinese traditional medicine production system passed GMP certification by the State Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau, so the company became the first pharmaceutical enterprise to gain GMP system certification in Sichuan province, and gained the first GMP certificate (No.A0001) issued by the State Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau. “Songling Xuemaikang Capsule” is the product in national basic medicine list, the national-patent new medicine, the national important new product, the national protective Chinese traditional medicine and class-A variety in National Basic Medical Insurance Medicine List, it is the preferred brand of Chinese traditional medicine to reduce blood pressure and adjust blood fat. “Yiqing Capsule”, “Zhenkening Capsule” are the varieties in National Basic Medical Insurance Medicine List, National Protective Chinese Traditional Medicine, at present, they have become the leading brands of heat-clearing drugs and cough medicines due to their selected materials, reliable curative effect and reliable quality, “Yiqing Capsule” has also had the honor to get the title of “Famous Brand Product” in Sichuan province.
Chengdu Daxinan Pharmaceutical Stock Co., Ltd. is a production base for chemical medicines, its representative products are the global first SNRI anti-depressant, “Venlafaxine Hydrochloride Capsules”--- “Blossom”, the global first DSS antipsychotics, “Aripiprazole Tablets” --- “Brisking”, and alimentary canal actuation drug, “Mosapride Citrate Dispersible Tablets” --- “Xinluona”, among them, “Blossom” was awarded “Important New Product at State Level”in 1999, “Blossom”, “Xin Luona” and “Brisking” have been listed in the national torch plan project. Established in 1921, Sichuan Jishengtang Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. is the production base for Chinese traditional medicine, and is “An Old and Famous Enterprise in Chinese Traditional Medicine Industry”. For the past eighty years, the enterprise has scrupulously abided by the operation objective of “Non-reduction of Manpower in the Case of Multifarious Processing, Non-reduction of Materials in the Case of High-Grade ”advocated by the founder, and has refined various Chinese traditional medicines, which are well received by the patients home and abroad. “Danshu Capsule”, “Gankeshuangqing Capsule” have a high reputation, and have been awarded a series of state-level honor titles. In December, 2006, Kanghong Sagent (Chengdu) Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. was established with total investment of USD 50 million by Chengdu Kanghong Technology Industrial (Group )Corporation and American Sagent Pharmaceuticals, Inc., each occupies 50%. The company is located in the export processing area of the west park of Chengdu High & New Technology Industry Development Zone, covering an area of 170 mu with I-stage building area of 50 thousand sq.m. 7 vial injection/liquid vial lines and 2 injections lines will be set up according to American GMP standard, and will pass SFDA certification and American FDA certification. The main products include antineoplastic drugs, anti-infective and clinical injections, the production scale is expected to be 300 million product units, the annual production value will be USD 1 billion, the products will be sold to the global markets.
